Booking the Sound Engineering Arts Studios

For Currently Enrolled WPU Students Each semester the Sound Engineering Arts program allots a limited amount of studio time to WPU students and faculty. SEA students take part in our Staff Engineer initiative where they function as if they were employed by a commercial studio. Recording sessions are booked on a first-come basis. The availability of studio time is based on the studio's and our staff engineers' availability. We will try to honor all requests but we cannot always guarantee availability.

The Free Option:  Fill out the form with complete information regarding your recording project (see form).  Your information will be forwarded to the SEA students for consideration as a student project.

The Paid Option:  If you are in need of services that are time sensitive or for some reason you need services that the staff engineer initiative cannot fulfill please fill out the form with complete information regarding your recording project (see form).  An SEA engineer will be assigned to your project and will be in touch with you to discuss the details of your recording session.  Payment is expected at the end of the recording session and can be may either in cash or by check made out to the Audio Association.

For If You Do Not Have An Affiliation with WPU

The Free Option:  Contact the SEA coordinator David Kerzner with complete information regarding your recording project (see form).  Your information will be forwarded to the SEA students for consideration as a student project. The SEA students are periodically in need of performers to satisfy class requirements. They are under no obligation to use thier allotted studio sessions for a requested session however and it is possible that no one will be available to take your requested project.

There Is No Paid Option:  We do not accept bookings from the community at large. We recommend one of the many fine recording studios in the NJ area.
